Where Did The Pollution Of Earth Begin?
Pollution of the Earth has been around since the beginning of time. The first source of air pollution was the volcanoes that erupted. Pollution began to be a bigger problem when man discovered fire. This type of natural pollution is not really damaging enough to cause a difference in the air quality. It wasn’t until the industrial revolution that the pollution became a serious problem. The chemical fires that were used in the factories contained dangers that people were not aware of. They did not know the illnesses that the smoke from these chemical fires could cause until a hundred years later. People started figuring out the damage the pollution was causing around 1960. So the beginning of pollution on the Earth was done because of the lack of knowledge.
Today things are different and people know the kind of damage that pollution causes. Now it is up to us to fix the problem. Going green is a great way to start. Decreasing the amount of waste that we have will make a big difference in the pollution problem. Recycling metals, plastics, glass, and paper is a great start in the fight against pollution.
